What a Sunday. We skipped church today and just hung out as a family. We stayed in our PJ's till noon or so and then ate lunch, went to the park and then took a stroll up route 66. Came back home and watched a bit of the Oscar's and put all the boys to bed. I am just trying to veg. Need to be doing my Ester homework, just can't bring myself to do so. Well, I think I am off to take a shower and hit the hay. Try and write more tomorrow. B

Well here we are again, I didn't know if I would really do this or not but here goes. Today has been a rough day on Rod. Very much like yesterday. He has been doing so good. Having more and more energy every day, until the CMV. Wow has it really kicked him in the rear. He hasn't eaten really anything since Friday. Yesterday what he did have came up and today he had about 5 bits of cereal and it has revisisted too. I am just going to try to keep him hydrated and not worry so much about the eating thing for a few days to see if we can get him feeling better. He is down to 220lbs now. Yesterday he was only awake for about 3 hours and today he has slept so far most of the day as well. I know that is more than likely what his body needs and may be partly drug induced but it worries me non the less. I am not so sure if worry is the word as much as my heart hurts for him because he has been through so much. Wow I never realized what a incredible man I was married to untill the last year or so and especially the last 4 months. He is my rock. I went to the church service that they have here in the hospital on Sundays this morning and I was really spoken to, he talked about when you go through rough times that is when you can learn the most from God. If you are open to learning what he is teaching you. And how we may know scripture verses and what God says but untill we own it it really does us no good. Untill we make it our own, hide it in our hearts to use during different situations that we face daily. I know that going through what Rod and I have gone through in our marriage and in the last 5 months, I have learned more about what God has planned for me, and what and how He is teaching me to be more like Him. I own what he is telling me and applying it in my life with the way I handle situations, in how I care for Rodney, my kids and in realationships. I have alot to learn and I am excited about what He is teaching me daily. My husband is not in the best circumstances but he is in the best hands. He is in the heavenly hands of God! What more could anyone ask for? I pray for healing for Rod so he doesn't have to continue to suffer much more. I pray for continued knowledge of what I am suposed to learn. I pray for patients and tenderness. Amen

Well, today I am so tired I can not hardly see straight. But I was checking on a flight for my sister to come to Houston and I always check my cousins blogs and thought I would just create one for myself. Maybe a journal if you will. I think this might be a good outlet for me going through this part of the transplant. I pray so. Well wish me good luck.
